Linda Deason (co-owner of 9th Street Studios): I’m a Wichita Falls native, business owner, grandma, mother, a creator and lover of all old things.
Becky Raeke (co-owner of 9th Street Studios): I’m a Wichita Falls native, business owner and proud mother of two. Family is my biggest asset and I love to work with other local businesses to promote local economy.
Amber Scott (Gallery Manager):
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001, AmbeR spent years living in different communities, experimenting with new formats to present her creations outside of the studio and gallery environment.
She never could have predicted that her move back to Wichita Falls would eventually propel her into full-time Art-making heaven! In 2017 she became involved with the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, and has since worked with a wide variety of organizations to create large scale, temporary artistic experiences. These collaborations were designed to engage greater portions of the community in the production and appreciation of art.
She was the 2018 Enrichment Program Coordinator and Curator for the Communities in Schools Youth Art/Talent Expo, she coordinated the “Young at Art/One World Gallery” exhibitions and art activities for the 2018 After Hours Art Walks, and she has had the opportunity to work on numerous art shows/events for 9th Street Studios as the Gallery Manager (aka “Builder of Gigantic, Elaborate Projects”).
She currently has her personal artwork in three different group exhibitions, while designing and fabricating large-scale props for the second Los Muertos festival, and is formulating a strategy to continue blowing minds at the City Lights parade.
