It all started when…

We set out to create a float that was visually engaging AND conveyed an impactful message. “Carol,” the majestic alebrija and many friends rewrote the lyrics of the Twelve Days of Christmas to remind onlookers of the many ways you can support artists (of all disciplines) while doing your holiday shopping.

In case you missed it, here it goes:

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to meeeee.......
12. music lessons
11. booked magicians
10. volunteers hours
9. live musicians
8. funded murals
7. handmade sundries
6. unique artworks
5. craft sweets, coffee and beer
4. Tickets to the theatre
3. Painting classes
