I am a realism artist, with many years of experience since age 5. I grew up in rural WV, where I raised a small family. And became serious about my artwork in my early 20's. After deciding to leave the beautiful mountains of my once beloved home, I moved to Texas. After a time of settling in, and finding the best place to enjoy life, I decided it was time to paint again. I joined a local gallery where I can display my artwork. Which then caught the eye of a journalist from the Wichita Falls Living Magazine, and opened a door for a feature in it. We never truly know where life will take us. Everything has it's place and time to happen. I think just letting it happen is the exciting part. Good or bad we always gain from each experience we have. And learn something from each person we meet along the way. I still enjoy being a Herbalist, mom and grandmother. Along with painting, I also enjoy the quiet peace I have once again found.
